I am new to the board but am a fem boy that is already undergoing some feminization for my dom. At time in the past I considered myself transgender but am staying a fem boy. However, one thing I have considered is using hormones to stimulate lactation.

I have talked to some experts (I have 2 doctors that specialize in transgender patients AND have talked to experts from la leche league international) that say it works if u r committed but that i must maintain a high level of estrogen for quite a while--probably a minimum of 6 months--then suddenly drop it. That is apparently enough in some males to kick the pituitary into releasing enough prolactin (milk-producing hormone) to make it possible to start some lactation. I understand that even if it starts that i would need to frequently stimulate it as much as every 2 hours. I am committed to this and am prepared to milk constantly through pumps and stimulation.I love the idea of producing milk. I have talked to 2 other transgenders that have been successful but am wondering if there are any here on this board.

Thanks. I appreciate what you are saying. I clarified my post and questio. To make it clear I am lucky to have 2 great doctors that understand and in a situation where I am able to consult experts like la leche. But you r right that this needs to be entirely my decision and it is.

Plenty of people include lactation in their D/s activities, but it is damn hard, even for women. Induced lactation is typically used by women who will be adopting an infant they would like to be able to breastfeed, and not all of them are successful with it. For women, it requires hours of committed physical stimulation every day (it will hurt, this is not fun) and also fiddling with your hormones. For men, it is much harder...just keeping your estrogen levels high won't necessarily do it. As you note, the pituitary has to be messed with; typically this happens through starvation, Thorazine use, etc. It's not an easy thing to do, and you may invest great amounts of time and money with absolutely no result. But perhaps you can make the journey part of your play, and then it will be valuable for you.

My trans friend has been trying to start lactation for two years now, with basically no success. I'll ask her what she's been doing. :)
