Feeling really dumb but...

how do I submit a story on here? I've read and re-read the FAQ page, and it tells me this:

"First, sign up as a Literotica Member. Once you've done so, you can submit stories and poems directly from your profile, using the Submit links at the top of the member page."

The only thing I can find that seems like a profile is the "Edit Profile" link under User CP. This has no links for submitting.

Am I looking in the wrong place? Where do I find this elusive submit link?

Sorry if this is a super dumb question....and thanks if anyone can help!

The bulletin board profile is sort of separate from the submissions profile. At least, I can't find an easy way to get between the two. You need to go to the stories page and click login (even if you're already logged in). That should bring you to the right place.

members.literotica.com This leads you to your sort of overall member page. You'll be able to monitor your story's votes and any comments you receive.

But as tany already mentioned the board is a part of Lit, just as the stories are a part. Welcome to Lit and good luck with your writing.

Just an FYI addition: The "Site Members Profile" and the "Forum Users Profile" are the same record in the same database -- they are just accessed differently and different parts of the record are used depending on which route you use to access the record.

The sections of the record that are used in common can be changed through either profile page -- BIO, Location, Password, etc -- but there are sections that only apply to the site or the forums that can only be changed via the applicable profile page.
