Feeling kind of sappy and sentimental, and there any recommendations for stories about a loving couple solving a problem or obstacle together?

Not very picky about what the problem ends up being. Money problems, work problems, family problems, somebody trying to break them up, unexpected illness, whatever. Don't care if the story itself gets dark, but am looking for a happy ending. Would ideally be 10,000+ words, and fairly grounded and realistic (not into anything supernatural.) LGBT+ couples are fine too.

Thanks for any ideas you guys may have! Appreciate it

I might be tooting my own horn a bit here, but my most recent story could be described as that even though it's less than the word-count you're looking for.

Do check it out, although it is my own story so I might be overestimating how good it is.
Aww, I'd never really read a pegging story before but that was actually really fun and cute. The historical angle was interesting, kind of a spin on the old diagnosis of "female hysteria."

Thanks, it really means a lot to hear that someone enjoyed it. My stories tend not to get too many comments, so when I send them out I sometimes get this sinking feeling that I'm just throwing things into the void.

As for the spin on the "Female hysteria" diagnosis, I didn't really think of that when I wrote it, but it really does have some strong parallels. I mostly wanted to play with pegging being a very recent invention and to depict a wife who really does want to stand her husband by through thick and thin. Although the reading of a form of "male hysteria" just shows that in most creative endeavors Bob Ross was right all along "We don't make mistakes, we have happy little accidents"

I’ll offer my story Forever Is a Long Time. It certainly fits the description. It’s the final part of my series that isn’t a series, but it should work as a standalone.

That was very touching and moving, exactly what I was talking about. I haven't read your background pieces, but I imagine once I do the story will take on a new weight.

Thank you for reading! I’m glad you liked it.
