My dear friend,
You can only imagine how quickly things can change. I am so glad that things were not any worse for you. But you need to hurry back. I hate to be the one to tell you this, but your dear shadow is a Lush. He just slurps down all of the unfinished drinks and now has gotten a taste for my Scotch. He is a great friend and companion and actually holds his liquor quite well, but the dear dog has learned how to belch and you will not believe how he can burp after slugging down 3 fingers of burbon.
But don't worry I carry him to bed everynight and he is sleeping like a baby.
Please hurry back and I miss your friendship very much. You are a sweet adoreable person and know one can take your place. Get feeling better my friend.
