POEM ONE

Bang, on the door
smash, out back
heart pounding faster
could it be an attack ?
The lights go out
in creeps fear
hiding in the corner
footsteps are near.
Shivering in darkness
heart pounding fast
unbearable terror
how long will it last ?
The lights flicker on
shadows become clear
it was just imagination
no reason to fear.

POEM TWO

Will i always be scared
could i sleep through the night
you took a piece of me
and i've never felt alright
The bruises will heal
the scars will fade
but this pain inside
will never fade away
You took something from me
you had no right to touch
does no mean nothing to you
I suspose it means nothing much
If i could have one wish
to wish upon someone like you
It would be for you to feel the pain
that i have felt from you.

Oh aggression
you find me so
You fill my mind
You wont let go
I'd done nothing to deserve
This brutal abuse
Let those who force
slip through the noose
and hang themselves
With the rope they're given
my anger seethes
I can't forgive them
Its all about time
And the love that heals
To be held by one
Who knows and feels
To wake one day
and hurt no more
To face the past
And close that door


Love comes to us all....
its up to you to answer its call.
