Hey, the one thing I can say about the anonymous feedback is that I tend to get feedback, and sometimes it is constructive, other times rude, and frequently USEFUL.

Now if the people that give me a 2 or a 1 on my writings would use the feedback to provide some insight as to why the writings didn't meet their expectation... it would be wonderful addition to their *feedback*

Deborah made a suggestion in another thread that might help all of us authors. She suggested that when a reader votes one (or maybe two) that a window pop up that asks the person to explain why they are voting so low on the story so that the author has an idea of how to improve. I think that this idea has merit. I hope Laurel looks into it. :)

I've had some lovely feedback and some rather disturbing ones too. but I agree, with whispersecret and Deborah... if you don't like our stories, let us know why.

I realise many people print the stories off and read them later. Why not have a feedback screen where you can just fill in the details rather than having to load a story and scrool down to vote.

New friends

I usually get several emails giving feedback when I post my stories, Usually it is a short "Good job" kind of thing, but I have even made a few long term friends through email feedback.

Anyway, I always enjoy reading comments about my stories.
