Hi,

My first story has posted. Helpful feedback is very much appreciated. I might resubmit as I've caught a few things--no editor/proof reader-- and reworking ideas that could impact the begining. http://www.literotica.com/stories/showstory.php?id=353554

Note:
The dilemma was whether to post in EC vs Romance, as there's no explicit sex scene in this chapter. However, I've seen similar sexual content make the EC toplist, so I decided to post there as it's frequented more often.
Do you think there's a significant difference in terms of where a story will fare better, be best enjoyed by readers?

Personally, I would have said Romance gets more reads. As regards which category is the most suitable, it depends on the theme of the story.

Romance: sex +love = happy ending
EC: sex + sex = some kind of ending

Its up to you of course, but as PrincessErin pointed out, Romance readers can be pissy if they think the story doesn't fulfil the category. But the other way round isn't likely to matter (ie. a romantic story in EC).

Certainly a high sex quota isn't necessary for Romance. I do think it tends to be more expected in EC.

Will try and read the story later.

There are chapters that are very erotic, others tease. The story will probably alternate between EC and Romance and I'll see what happens.

Great start

Just read your story. I liked the playful banter and the little twist at the beginning. It has a romantic lean to it but, of course, I have no idea where you plan to take it.

I just had a similar problem posting my second story. I choice EC but had several comments that said it would have been better in Romance, so I may not be a good judge on that topic.

I enjoyed your writing. Looking forward to your next installment.
