Feedback needed

I have a series posted in the Interracial category called "Express Lane." Long story short, it's about two young women who happen to be sisters and their lives. There are lots of sub-plots and I've been told it reads more like a novel then stand-alone stories (which I have also been told is a good thing.)

The first two stories did relatively well ratings wise and PC wise. However, this third chapter that I've posted isn't fairing too well. I know it's a short, sexless chapter (which may be the culprit) but I really wanted to devote at least one chapter to character development, story development, etc.

It's not the lack of sex. Well okay, it probably is. But the reason that's the problem is because of the category it's in.

Readers of the Interracial category are expecting to read about black men with enormous cocks banging white women. And that isn't what your story's about. Yours is a well-written, well plotted novel-type story where the characters happen to be of differing colour.

In the Romance category/novels and novellas, maybe even erotic couplings, I'm pretty sure you'd have a much more positive response.

Well, the story score has since gone up but I do agree with you. I set out to not focus solely on their ethnicities but just the relationship and chemistry they have with one another.

I've never really ventured into the Novel/Novella category, so it might be worth a try.
