The courts rejected the redrawings from Republicans and told them to redraw again. Republicans then half-assed a new drawing at the last minute. They are taking the effort seriously.

The Republican majority is worthless in this state.

They figured there would be no consequences for their blatant violation of court orders and the will of the voters, and so far they've been proven right. And I doubt there's a single member of the state legislature that will lose their job over it either. Ohio is the king of the GOP 51/Dems 49 district.

BTW, while it's true this order only applies to this one election, if the GOP can get one extra vote on the state Supreme Court, this will all be moot.
