The Attorney General's Department of Injustice violated the rights of voting whites and obstructed justice....it's now official!

United States District Court Judge Reggie Walton disagreed. Citing a “series of emails” between Obama political appointees and career Justice lawyers, Walton writes:

The documents reveal that political appointees within DOJ were conferring about the status and resolution of the New Black Panther Party case in the days preceding the DOJ’s dismissal of claims in that case, which would appear to contradict Assistant Attorney General Perez’s testimony that political leadership was not involved in that decision. Surely the public has an interest in documents that cast doubt on the accuracy of government officials’ representations regarding the possible politicization of agency decision-making.

I wonder what the liberal reaction would have been had the DOJ told Woodward and Bernstein to 'please just shut up and go away, Watergate is no big deal, we all got together over at DOJ, and we're not really upset by it, so you shouldn't be either. Please go away'.

When crimes take place and the government colludes to not prosecute it, that makes two crimes...

there were no charges, no complaints, no crime with the Black Panther's case

you are suggesting that the government should fabricate charges and evidence to create a prosecution

Bullshit BBS, read it and weep:

The New Black Panther Party voter intimidation case, sometimes known simply as the Black Panther Case, is a political controversy in the United States concerning an incident that occurred during the 2008 election. The "New Black Panther Party and two of its members, Minister King Samir Shabazz and Jerry Jackson, were charged with voter intimidation for their conduct outside a polling station in Philadelphia. The Department of Justice later narrowed the charges against Minister King Shabazz and dismissed the charges against the New Black Panther Party and Jerry Jackson. The decision to dismiss the charges has led to accusations that the Department of Justice under the Obama administration is biased against white victims and unwilling to prosecute minorities for civil rights violations. These charges have been most notably made by J. Christian Adams, who in May 2010 resigned his post in the Department of Justice in protest over the Obama Administration's perceived mishandling of the case, and by his former supervisor Christopher Coates."

From your link.

No complaints were filed by voters about the incident, although poll watchers witnessed some voters approach the polls and then turn away, apparently in response to the New Black Panther Party members.

If they don't complain shouldn't we just ignore it too?

shakes head... once again the entire premise of the case boils down to one thing...if no complaints were made no charges were made

you can't have voter intimidation...if no one was intimidated

You said there weren't any charges, there were charges.

actually the atricle states there were " claims" that there were charges

so far not a single witness or police report has been able to confirm this

if you can find any proof that anyone made a complaint...please submit it

Maybe we just need to dress up like Black Panthers and carry some night sticks when we check photo ID's, so nobody complains, or we just shoot em if they try. Nobody's gonna question that!
