Feature Request: Option to ignore profile updates

When I check my home page, most of the notifications are "so and so has updated their profile." I have zero interest in this -- when I follow someone, I'm only interested when they publish something. Most recently, one author updated their profile a dozen or more times in a short space of time, possibly a bug. Anyway, I'd like the option to ignore profile updates on followed authors.
