Exactly WHAT do the democrats/progressives want to see as far as immigration policy is concerned? No vague bullshit, lay it out in as much detail as you can. Use polysylabic's where and if required, most of us can read.

So, what are your plans, desires, whatever?

• Abolish ICE. It's hated by many on both sides with its overreach and shithead officers.
• Enforce immigration laws that are currently in place. It's been proven over and over that immigrants do not cause more crime than natives.
• Change the tactics. Since 45 is failing miserably on whatever the fuck he was doing with MS13, we need to target actual illegals committing crimes first and round up the rest later.

Seems pretty clear you support abolishing ICE....but can't explain how you want our immigration and customs policies enforced after you abolished the law enforcement agencies that enforce them.

ICE has always been around, it just used to be 2 separate agencies that did the exact same job instead of 1 being run by the DHS.

It's the part that enforces our immigration laws.

Without that you effectively have open borders anywhere there isn't a BP officer or soldier standing to stop illegal crossing.

You also lose the ability to enforce our laws that prohibit those overstaying their legal temporary entry or refusing visitors without proper ID/customs paperwork.

So anyone can fly to the US and stay as long as they want!!...like I said, abolishing ICE is EFFECTIVELY having open borders.

Just like abolishing a police department is effectively ending rule of law.
