A campaign has been launched calling for a ban on the development of robots that can be used for sex.

Such a use of the technology is unnecessary and undesirable, said campaign leader Dr Kathleen Richardson.

Sex dolls already on the market are becoming more sophisticated and some are now hoping to build artificial intelligence into their products.

Those working in the field say that there is a need for such robots.

Dr Richardson, a robot ethicist at De Montfort University in Leicester, wants to raise awareness of the issue and persuade those developing sex robots to rethink how their technology is used.

I wonder if Manboobz will issue an apology now that actual feminists are calling for a ban on sex robots.

Feminists want to ban them because men would no longer have to beg and negotiate with women for sexual satisfaction and companionship. They want men to feel the shame and sting of rejection if they don’t get the social approval of women.

Sex robots could lead to women losing huge amounts of power via sexual manipulation. The first generation of sex robots will only snag men on the socioeconomic margins - the ones that women don't want. But the next generation of men will start to look at improved sex robots down the line and consider the cost/benefit ratio of a sex robot versus busting his ass to win a woman's affections.

When it comes down to the best sex ever, without the hardship of wooing a woman, sex robots will erode the value of courtship much like a river carves out the Grand Canyon.

Feminists know this, and that's why they hate sex robots.

The woman mentioned is a robotics ethicist, nowhere in the article does it mention anything about feminists.

Now I understand that your only hope of a sexual relationship rests with the development of a sex robot, because your obsession with feminists, general insanity, and the utter contempt you cause in anyone that's exposed to you for more than five minutes precludes anything resembling a normal relationship with an actual living breathing person of either gender.

That's my way of describing Pickup Artists. But yeah, men don't LITERALLY beg, they go around peacocking and fighting each other over women.
