My belief is and has never changed, wait till all the facts are out and let the justice system do it's thing. If there is truth to the violence being plotted towards the governor and her cabinet and the justice system can prove it then prosecute to the full extent of the law. Conservatives don't approve of violence any more than most democrats. That excludes the progressive socialist wing of the democratic party, they are trying to tear down our republican form of government, you know, like Nancy trying to invoke the 25th amendment and illegally deposing a duly elected president.

When I read **Trumpsters were plotting** that was just politicizing a real crime. That was a veiled attempt at categorizing people that voted for Trump as a criminal element and shouldn't be taken seriously.

We already went to court, (D)'s lost, and defied the courts anyhow....went right ahead violating their residents rights.

What should the people of Michigan do about that??

That's not paranoia...that's what happens when governments/officials just openly stop following the law......read a history book sometime. It's a hallmark indicator of societal/national collapse. The longer that continues to be the case the higher the probability of 'civil' unrest and rioting turning into true armed conflict becomes.

That's not a new thing, random or really even disputed among anyone with a fucking clue.

The Hammonds became the faces of a far-right fringe movement that is intertwined with the Constitutional Sheriffs movement. Donald Trump has been courting these extremists since at least 2016. Three of his most controversial pardons are related to this movement. In August 2017, Trump pardoned former Sheriff Joe Arpaio, also a member of the CSPOA. In July 2018, Trump pardoned Dwight and Steven Hammond. Make no mistake about it, these pardons were to shore up support from the most far-right law enforcement and militia types in the country.

At the end of the day, once we rid this government of Trump, we need to make a nationwide effort to purge each and every one of these extremist sheriffs with their grandiose ideas based in white supremacy. Everyone in this country deserves unbiased policing and law enforcement who follow the law, not make their own law.

After all, if they feel empowered to arrest a sitting governor because they disagree with her statewide orders in a deadly pandemic, what’s to stop them or their “militia” friends from knocking on your door next?

If Trump is not your cup of tea then all Americans have a duty to vote and if he wins Americans also have a duty to stand behind that constitutional process and follow the constitution not anarchy.

Protecting our borders is a constitutional duty of a president!

Same options that many of us have with Trump: vote him out or follow a legal/judicial option.

Threatening civil war, encouraging those who follow through on violent responses, or taking violent actions yourself are not acceptable options in this country. If you want armed civil conflict as the main option for governmental change, there are other countries where that is the norm. Move there. You could fulfill your wet dream of being a soldier of fortune, assuming you lose a few pounds and give up your monthly checks from the U.S. gummint.

The investigation of the six subjects of this thread started because of statements they made on a social media platform, similar to this one. People promoting violent civil war should be banned from this forum.

Yes, this sums up what I think is so very important. We all deserve unbiased policing and law enforcement.

This is the Crux of what Black Lives Matters is about...we achieve this and this movement will fade away and people will go about their lives peacefully.

These Republican right wing militia types won't stop on their own, Mr. Luney tunes here is a perfect example of why they won't stop. It is up to us law abiding citizens to support our law abiding(what we want) and unbiased institutions​(what we want) of govt and law enforcement. We want them to watch these zealots and jail them if they try to act on their crazy beliefs. If left unchecked and they get any semblance of power they will be coming for anyone who doesn't follow their party line.
