He writes Warhammer 40,000 books for Games Workshop. He did the "Gaunt's Ghosts" series (First and only, Ghostmaker, Necropolis, Honour Guard)

Well certainly not the mixture of snow, sleet and drizzly rain that I had to drive through to work this morning .......
