The "lasagna" thread was so popular, I wondered if you Lit types had similar firm opinions on pizza type?
What do you prefer? Thin crust? Thick crust? Fancy crust? White sauce? Red sauce? Frozen pizza is not allowed...

Thin crust, red sauce, extra cheese, pineapple and onion. Hold the anchovies, you perverts.

Thin and crispy, cut into little squares, and covered with sausage, mushroom, onions, and black olives.

Thin crust, margherita. Accept no substitutes.

This, and it better be real mozarella.

I'm gonna be a rebel though and throw some shrooms and ham on there, Lazio style.

Thin crust, red sauce, pepperoni, green peppers, black olives, white mushrooms and mozzarella. Round, cut into wedges.

It may sound entirely ordinary, but not if you use one of these to slice it:

Go right ahead, ruin my authentic pizza with fresh mozz, thin sliced Roma tomatoes and fresh basil.

What's with all the thin crust stuff? The crust is the best part, or should be. Thick, herb & garlic homemade crust, with a mix of real cheeses (mozz, parmesan, romano, asiago, etc.). Toppings are negotiable, crust is not.

White pizza with a garlic and olive oil sauce, fresh mozz and ricotta cheese, tomatoes and red onion. Thin crust.

But, oh my god, this time I was up in north Jersey and I got the most delicious Sicilian pizza I have ever had, so that's a close second.
