Two six minute boiled eggs on an English muffin with a little salt and pepper and a cup of coffee - no sugar - extra cream. Usually after 10:00 regardless of the day of the week.

Most days its just a granola bar. Eggos or cereal if there's time. About once a month we'll go meet friends and I'm often getting biscuits and gravy, with a side of bacon. Sometimes a strawberry waffle. We're all a little obsessed with Original Pancake House. Best Bacon EVER!

My usual everyday breakfast is a fist worth of oatmeal with chaenomele slices, berries (whatever berries, fresh when applicable, as in gathered during the morning walk, but otherwise frozen; from my own garden of course) and honey (also my own); big mug of strong over-sweetened instant coffee (nasty, I know) with a lot of full milk; single soft-boiled egg; and some meat. Whatever meat, leftovers from previous dinner or even barely-any-meat-there sausage will do, but I can't feel sated without a piece of meat.

If lovely someone had done it, then the egg would be replaced with omelette, usually done with potatoes, cabbage, or dozen other green things I can't always name (even less in English).

The big family breakfast, my dad's pancakes, or rather brunch (while all folks gather, 20+ at times) is usually Sunday, but not every Sunday either.

I always get my fill of FEBs whenever I'm over. Have a couple of B&Bs in the Midlands and north of the border that definitely get you going for the rest of the day. Best I ever had was at a farmhouse B&B just outside John O'Groats. I always tell them to save their money and not bother with the black pudding. Something about fried congealed pig blood just puts me off.
