I am an English man who adores American accents. I don't know what it is about the sound of you American ladies saying naughty words, but it tends to blow my mind.
Often I find that a good voice can be much more sexy than a *good body*.....What accents turn you on, good people of Literotica?

For the most part, it's not about the accent for me, it's about the mind behind it. BUT. This said, I seem to have a weakness for South African accents...

For me, a woman with a soft Southern Irish accent is one I wouldn't kick out of bed.

The accent just makes me go all gooey inside. Just like soft Northern accents. :D

I adore almost all accents that aren’t common to my daily listening. Paired with the right tonality, I just find so much joy listening to the different melodic inflections.

I suppose the accents I’m drawn to the most are the variations of Scottish and Irish. It’s where my family are from, I have happy memories associated with both accents, and there’s just something that calls to me on an almost DNA level. And Gaelic speakers....*sighs wistfully*

Feels like it’s easier to know what I don’t like. Hardcore southern accents. Probably my own political bent.
Same with wicked pissa Boston ones or stereotypical jersey accents.
Posh and naughty is good.
It’s more the tone and annunciation. Mumbling in any accent is bad.

I tried to write you back but your PMs are off. Sorry!

And the good old English accent?...

Scottish. Especially with women.i melt for Shirley Manson and Sheena Easton.

American.
NY accents. A little drawl maybe. Not deep southern or super Cali.

Probably the only woman on Lit that doesn’t melt for the Brits.

I do like Russian.

As long as I can understand what they're saying and don't need a translator they're all good to me.

I've met to many people with regional accents or speech patterns that made me think they weren't speaking anything remotely close to English who grew up speaking English.

But on the other hand I've met people to whom English is a second, third or fourth language. I've never had any problems understanding any of them and most spoke more clearly than people I've known for year.

I like Southern accents, Irish and Russian... In the words of Billy Joel...... Dont ask me why!!!!!
