Favoriting Surge

After a few weeks with no activity, I my profile/stories just got five new favoritings in the last 48 hours, from 5 completely different members. I guess that would make sense if I'd recently done something to bring myself to people's attention, e.g. upload a new story. But my last submission was a Halloween Contest entry.

It happens. They may be connected in some way, and one favorite turned into several by word of mouth when the first stumbled across your stories. I just had someone favorite Les and all of the "of the wood" stories a couple of days ago, and I haven't written anything in that name since the summer contest.

Bad weather, especially during the winter seems to bring out the readers. Maybe they finish the new story lists and start searching for more to read. Bad weather and favorites go hand and hand or so it seems to me.
