We all have them.

Some people keep them in in reserve, for that *special* day/party/situation. For others, it just doesn't feel right unless you have it on/with you.

What accessory or piece of clothing is your favorite?

For me, it's a pair of Oakley O-Os like these. I didn't realize they were linked so strongly to me until clients started saying things like, "I don't know his name, but I think it was the guy with the cool blue glasses."

Jewelry in general. I feel naked without it. No special piece though, except if I'm really really stressed I make sure that day I am wearing my grandma's engagement ring. Sentimental value gives me emotional strength.

My beard.

I hate it when it's shaved. Shame I have to do it every few months becasue I forget just how much I hate it.

And my old work wouln't let me wear it at all, that really sucked.

I have my Great Grandmothers bangle bracelet which is over 100yrs old, that my mother recently givin me because she was told she only has a few months left to live (cancer). I wear it for good luck. It is priceless to me.

My every day item is my wedding band...I know, I sound corney, but it's true. I had it off one day because I was using dye and forgot to put it back on. The next morning driving to work, I had chills down my spine and my heart sank when I noticed it wasn't there. It is such a symbol to me that means the world even though it is only a band.

I have a piercing in my left ear cartilege. In it, i almost always wear a silver ring with a hematite bead. I've tried lots of other earrings in that place, from diamond studs to gold and silver of all descriptions, but i keep coming back to this silver ring. Whenever i wear something else in there, and that happens with less and less frequency, it seems, i take it out when i get home and put the silver/hematite ring back in.

I cannot go anywhere without my sunglasses. If it's dark or raining, they're in my pocket.

I don't wear a lot of jewelry, but my nephew gave me a necklasce with a heart on it (looks like a locket but it isn't) for Mother's Day and I wear that if I'm stressed or upset.

My swiss army knife...

Don't leave home without it....

it's even more important then my house keys.... i can get into my locked house with my knife, but, a house key makes a bad screw driver...

My mom's wedding ring, just the diamond engagement part

:p

I never take it off, not even to swim. It is a part of me now.

Horror story warning ahead! My dad always swam with his wedding ring, too. One day, it slipped off his finger and stayed in the bottom of the lake forever. He never did find it.

Even if it seems tight, water can loosen it. It would be much easier to find in a pool, but still a hassle if you lose it and don't notice it is gone!

I would notice immediately if it were gone

:p

My Cross. I've wore one almost everyday for 13 years. I feel naked without it. Something just dawned on me. Every cross I've ever wore has been bought for me by my man.

favorite thing

my favorite thing is my old hat my sister got me.i would never part with it for anything.

I have a silver celtic cross on a necklace. It always gives me strength when I need it. It makes me fell more connected to my friends and reminds me of people that I can always talk to.

My Swiss Army watch. It's easily the best watch I've ever owned. In the 5 years I've had it, it's never been off by more than 1 or 2 minutes. I wear it everywhere. It goes with everything I own. But here's the real reason why I treasure it: It was the last birthday gift my dad ever gave me before he passed away.

if it is appropriate

i like to wear my denim shirt with my black jeans and my cowboy boots.
i dont have much jewellery, but i do have a few necklaces i like to wear with the shirt.

My favorite thing would have to my gold dolphin necklace I wear it all the time except when I'm swimming or sleeping. It was one of the last things my grandmother gave me before she passed away and then my father's silver wedding band which I've worn on a chain since I was 1 and 1/2.

I would feel weird without these things....

My grandmother's locket. It isn't valuable except to me and the picture it contains (a certain wild haired gentleman). Also a silver ring I rarely take off; it was a gift from a very special person.
