Favorite Popcorn Flavors

Do you like it more salty or buttered or just plain? How about the cheese or caramel kind?

My favorite is Pop Secret's Homestyle microwave popcorn. It has the perfect blend of salt and real butter for me (not too much of either, and I love the real butter taste) and doesn't seem to have so many of those hulls or whatever they're called that get stuck between your teeth in below your gums.

I tried their new Kettlecorn, and it's okay but a bit unusual. Sweet popcorn, but it's light and crunchy. In the dorms we lived on air popped unsalted unbuttered popcorn by the bushel, and I went through a short phase years ago of eating Orville Redenbacher's "super buttery" popcorn that you opened into a sort of bowl and poured the butter flavoring over it.

REAL kettle corn kicks ass.

I LOVE the cheese flavor that you pour over the top after it's popped. It's gotta be HORRIBLE for you and I don't eat it anymore, but it tastes awesome.

I love pop corn and I tend to like the movie style pop corn.

I also tried that Kettle pop corn and in my opinion it was more sweet then it was salty. It tastes to sugary for me so I gave it away to my sister.

The one pop corn I simplY love but I can not find it in my stores down here was a pop corn called " Vic's". I came in a white bag and it was white chedder flavored. I got hooked on it when was sister was working at a video store.

"Real" or microwave popcorn, it doesn't matter. It must have butter, salt, and a bit of sugar on it.

Kettle corn is fine if it's fresh from the kettle, I've not tasted any microwave popcorn labeled "kettle corn", that tasted any good.

Plain popcorn (sans butter)

A dash of chili powder
A dash of cayenne
A few dashes of Lucas acidito (makes me sneeze but I adore it)

Hmm I'll have to try real kettlecorn someday. The microwave kind was pretty sweet and felt more like I was eating a "dessert".

I do occasionally sprinkle grated parmesan or garlic salt or other spices on plain popcorn (never on me Homestyle!), and I do like that white cheddar cheese popcorn and it leaves you with that yummy cheese powder all over your fingers you can suck off afterwards
