I suggest with all that has happened, get on a couch with our loved one and watch a movie together. That leads me to ask what are your favorite movies?? And, what movie is best to watch with someone you care about?
I like anything with Denzel Washington in it. His acting style is incredible. I also like anything with Angelina Jolie in it...but mostly because I'd like to fuck her
And, I prefer to watch movies alone so I can concentrate.
i used to own a video store.. movies bore me.. i know.. not normal.. but after 10 years in the video business.. they all start to look the same..
but.. i did rent a few this week (avoiding the tv for a few days) and i seen Memento.. omg.. this movie is awesome.. it's not full of well known actors.. it's suspensful.. keeps you guessing right up to the end.. or is it the beginning? hmm watch it and see what i mean..
ALOT of people didn't like o brother, because the way it depicted Southeners as hicks, but I thought it was a RIOT!!!! Clooney's best movie, to date. I also like American Beauty and the Star Wars Trilogy. I HOPE the trilogy comes to DVD soon. I know the script to American Beauty BY HEART!!!!!!!!!!
As silly as it sounds - one movie I never get tired of watching is "Big Trouble In Little China"
There aren't many movies I feel a need to see more then once - some are just so much FUN that repeated viewings - especially with friends - is always enjoyable.
Also on that list are "Rocky Horror Picture Show" and "Kentucky Fried Movie."
Marking myself out as a very strange person indeed, my favourite film is an Ealing Comedy made in the fifties called "School For Scoundrels." It doesn't make you laugh out loud, but it does leave a smile on your face all day. It's got Alistair Simm and Terry Thomas in it, two of the most impressive actors in British cinema history. Regardless of your nationality, I heartily recomend it for a rainy afternoon.
