Things change. I used to like Charm Pops. Gone. And JuJuBee's? Where are they now?

I see a lot of Sour Patch Kids and stuff marketed for today's Ute. But I like the old stuff better.

Juicy Fruit is still around - but two of my favorites Black Crows and Nibs? Hey, bring'em back I say. Yes, licorice is an acquired taste and not for the meek - but I am no chocolate kind of guy.

Chocolate is for sissy's. Besides it leaves "big sheets of phlegm" which deposit themselves into huge brown oysters in the back of ones throat. Uck! I hate chocolate - unless it's mousse or ice cream.

In New York here - where it costs us $11 to go see some current bad movie and you must show up at least a half hour early or experience your very own Seinfeld episode - they have "carts" and they push'em up and down the isles. You can get candy, hot dogs and nachos.

But -

Fact is my ultra-favorite thing to eat in a movie theater is………. I sneak a couple of tall, 16oz, ice cold cans of beer in there. Bush is best! I somehow (it gets harder as time goes by) get a hold a large size bag of Nibs and I then get a mouthful of about 10 Nibs and let them reside in there, kind of like chewing tobacco - then I sift/drink the ice cold beer - through the licorice.

Ummmmmmm! Gooooood! Licorice beer!!!

What's your favorite?

Movie Snacks

That's an easy one Sparky. Mine's gotta be pussy. Nothing like a little public, movie puddy. Mmmmmmm...

Although, your beer idea isn't bad either.

Really Hap.....

Thought you'd sit there with soiled panties on yer head. Sniff - sniff! Snuff - snuff!

Man I love.....

Caviar! Not buttered of course. I have actually eaten it by the tablespoon.

The resulting bowel movements are ferocious.

Got to have a large bucket of buttered popcorn. It is $7 to go to the movies here.

Of course the fun part is slipping him a quick blow job if no one else is sitting on our row. Yes he has been known to change our seats to an empty row if someone sits near us.

Hot buttered popcorn for me to, i'm going to have to try that beer thing Sparky...

<wrinkles nose> Yuck, that beer thing just sounds nasty. But hey, more Nibs for you, right?

I usually do popcorn, Twizzlers, and a SMALL soda. I hate having to miss part of the movie for a bathroom break.

OMG

Did no one mention Junior Mints, what is wrong with you people??? Or am I the only one who likes them. I bought a box of them last night! YUMMY!

I tend to eat an absolutely obscene amount of food at the movies.

Big Nachos, no salsa just cheese and jalapenos please
Big popcorn extra "topping"
A Hawaiin Ice Sno Cone thingy
A bag of M&M Peanuts
An industrial size vat o' cola and a bottle of H2O to chase it all down.

I tend not to eat very much junk food as a rule. But put me in a movie theater and I turn in to a fourteen year old with too much money,

I usually just getthe popcorn, everything else I sneak in. I once snuck a shrimp dinner into the movies.

Have you ever tried popcorn with chocolate? There is just something about that combo that sets me off. Damn good. Any chocolate is ok but a Resee's peanut butter cup has got to be the best. And you have to eat them at the same time. Chew up together. Man I'm takin the fantasy goddess to the movies tonight!

Sitting in the back row ...

Is she perverted like me?
Would she go down on you in the theatre?

~Alanis Morrisette~

My all time favorite candy Swedish Fish. Those little red fishys are the perfect candy, not too sweet and cloying or messy but still a wonderment to pop in your mouth and chew without coating your teeth with goo. I should write an ode to red fish.....might be my destiny!

For me its a .....

Tootsie Pop or a Holloway Sucker.
Then, again, I don't go tomany movies anymore. I hate the crowds and the noise and the ticket prices. I love videos because you can stop and start them, at will. Also with a video, I can curl up on the sofa with Dr. blue and be comfortable. At home we both like M & M's, candywise, and Ketel One, vodkawise, with anchovy olives.

You guys go to movies ....?

I almost forgot what they are ...
My hubby is an electronics junkie and ever since he installed Surround Sound ... well, I think you get the picture. On the bright side, I get to eat whatever I want, pause the video for necessary breaks .... and I can even do it nekkid if I want! Sweeeeeeeeet!
But ... when I used to go to the movies, I got a small, unbuttered popcorn and a box of SnowCaps .... I'm into mixing the chocolate with the popcorn too! Yummy!!

YES!! Thank you thank you... that is what I wanted exactly!!
Those and Reeces Pieces... hmmm

Or sometimes a big giant pickle! (don't even say it... don't say it... or you will jinx me and I would have to hate you!)

Buttered popcorn with m&m's or Reese's Pieces here. I love RedVines (not Twizzlers, too waxy) gotta have Lg. (read bucket) diet Pepsi with it to round out the whole thing. Occasionally I'd sneak in some mochi (Japanese rice crackers) to go with my popcorn.

Never gotten to do the Alanis thing in a theater, the ex- would freak out if I simply rested my hand "there" in public. Any volunteers? LOL.

"Am I getting old or what, does anybody remember Rasinettes?"

Everytime I go to the drive-in I get a box of them.I don't go to the theater, because of all the RUDE,and OBNOXTIOUS people that are there.
The last time I went was about 15 years ago.

Red Hots anyone??

Do y'all remember Red Hots. Yum, that always got the mouth tingling.... but I am older now, and other things do that.

But then, I haven't been to the movies in over three years. Darn, might have to have movie night at my place!

Food

I have to say when ,I go to a movie i want Reices PenutButter Cups.....:) So I love chocolate what can I say:p

YUMMY:D

Buttered popcorn, Red Vines and a Pepsi. I always hated going to dinner before a movie, coz if I don't have my snackies, I just don't know what to do with my hands and mouth while I'm watching and I get all fidgetty.

Raisinettes & Gobstoppers - bought at the Safeway across from the movie theatre! Cause with the raisinettes you can either buy like 12 oz for $3 or what ever it is, or go to the bulk foods store and get a whole pound for $2! And I like a large sprite, but what size of popcorn or if I get any at all depends on the theatre. There are a few places around here, ranging from the damn best fresh popcorn in the world! To week old, way too much salt, suck ass popcorn!
