KY or Astroglide are probably better because they are water soluable. I am not sure about Aloe though. I love astroglide. It is the best, especially when I am dealing with a large one.

Well, I've used it twice, and have so far had a somewhat difficult time getting it all the way in.... it stretches me somewhat uncomfortably at the widest part of the head, but the vibration is a very new (and great) feeling.

My wife and I have tried a lot of lubes over the years, and many work well. I've found that "consistency" has a big role in whether I want to use it. A lot of the "longer lasting" (supposedly) lubes, especially used by gay men for anal sex, to me have an almost "runny-snot' consistency that turns me off.

well this is what i think it would be like.

steel - very smooth and heavy. however also very cold and cold and anal dont mix with me. although i have put an icecube in me at a lovers request.

stone - probably the same as steel.

glass - i have heard good things about glass dildos. they retain heat and are the smoothest surface you can have. i think one with a mirror finish would be nice for some reason.


i would probably never use one of those three just because they have zero give. but on the metal one it would feel nice if they put ridges and bumps all over.

I have a heavy metal one, almost like the pic but with some ridges in it. I do love it, and the weight is amazing. It does start off cold but I have learned to run it under warm water first.
