Fatal error?

I logged out, then came back in. I know lit uses 2 servers, so I'd guess it is a problem with one of the servers. Those logged in through the good server are fine.

Actually, last I knew for sure there were three servers with a fourth planned. I don't know if the fourth was ever brought on line, but there's definitely more than two.

The fact that everyone was getting the same error suggests that on of the servers is having disk read errors on one of the script files or a communications problem that is garbling the cookie that tracks which threads have been viewed.

As I suspected, I couldn't read this thread once I started it, either!

I erased cookies, then erased all temporary files, then logged out, then rebooted, and here I am. Not too bad for a pretty much computer illiterate, huh?

I get a slightly different error. It takes forever to load, then says something about line 95... then pops up a nude picture of Cheyenne. I've seen so many nude pics of her, I'm started to get freaked out. I mean... it's started to be *normal* to see ppl nude... and that just can't be good...

While you were gone, Lit was down (from 1854 hrs PST to 1902 hrs PST -- According to the time stamps on this thread.) so it appears that the fatal errors were a precursor of a server crash or the server was reset to correct them.
