Fast short edit tonight?

I've been looking at a chapter I want to submit tonight. (I'm 2 days past my own personal deadline.)

Anyway, I have a couple introduction scenes that I want to try to condense, but I don't know how and keep the gist of the thing. It's been edited, I just don't like it the more I read it -- these 'hello's' anyway.

Is there anyone around this evening who can look at these bits for me or even maybe with me in google docs and help condense them? It's 3 Word pages total.

It was the first ever fiction anything I'd ever written, so, well, you know how bad it must be. (Not to scare you off!)

You ever just want to be done with something? Probably would have been best to wait one more day in order to have the help, and then also take a last proofread, because when you start toying with your copy, funny things start happening and get overlooked.
