How about a story where a group of college students go the do a work study out on a farm for the summer. At first, it's all academic, but then the work become back breakingly hard. The group of young people learn how closely they have to work together to get everything done. Their personal spaces are violated as they do the difficult tasks.
A pond out of the afternoon sun welcomes them to skinny dip. Splashing and horse play lead to group sex.

Do they have to be young?
I started something like that some years ago - got halfway through but then ran out of steam. I picked up some other projects since and never got back to it.
