well I guess everyone has an opinion, preacher are human just like everyone else, maybe I should pray more, or should I give into temptation.

human, yes; just like everybody else? no. not when your 'job' is to teach the ways of your god to those who'll listen and pity those (or, in many instances of individual preachers) villify those who don't toe the party line.

seriously, the general board wasn't really the best place to post this thread. there's an entire forum here devoted to that kind of thing if you take the time to look around.

I think this is a more common fantasy or desire in some cases than one might think. You maybe a pastor and religious man and nothing wrong with that at all, but I feel you also have testosterone flowing through your body and mind, so what is so wrong about sexual fantasy and desires.

I am not a hypocrite and no role model of feminine modesty and chastity. I am very sexual still as I get older. I do not believe in judging anyone. Even the Bible says judge not.

Having sexual desires is normal I believe. Denying one has them is a lie and abnormal.
 
thank you so much for that, it is something I struggle with, I never said I was going to do anything about this, I know my wife well enough that this would never happen. I will look for the other forums. Everyone will have to give account for them selves.

Whether your Thank you was meant for me or the thread in total, I want you to know I was not advocating for you to act on anything at all. Just saying that I believe fantasy is harmless and is perfectly normal Men have certain fantasies and we women have ours. Sometimes they are the same or similar just from out gender perspectives. If you could read your wife's mind I would bet you she has her own fantasies she would never act on. I don't mean to offend in anyway, just pointing out reality.
 
the thank you was t you, for pointing out the reality of issues. I have a problem trying to talk about these .things because it seems that no one would understand. I did one time try to talk to my wife and she got so pist with me, I know have short comings in areas and really would like to help to please her. She very rare talks about these issue because in our faith is for reproduction and that is pretty much it and since I cannot have children well.

if you're 'a preacher' and sex is 'for reproduction only' in your faith, then i've a pretty good damned idea the kind of stuff you preach. each to their own, but i don't follow any religious faith but see hypocrisy and nastiness aplenty in good god-fearin' church folks :rolleyes: and before you say it, of course i don't taint everyone who holds religious beliefs with that brush but i've seen way too much of it to last a lifetime. be a good person - don't use a god as a crutch to support your (any believer's, not you personally) prejudices or excuse your uncharitable actions.
