fantasies and credibility

I don't do the safety thing much either but now the lube thing? Yeah I always put that in. I don't want a girl being ass fucked by some dude that read one story and didn't "know" to use lube because of my oversight.

If I'm writing with someone on a SRP and they leave out the lube I'm like, <nudge> are you SURE you want to do that cause I can play the hell out of it but yeah it will hurt. So unless hurt is what you are going for, you might want to edit.

I guess I don't think about safety much since I am in a committed, no other fuck buddy, relationship. If that ever changed, I hope I'd be a good lil Girl Scout and take all the precautions. It would be a bit of a chore to do so, I think.

I took condoms to my Mom after my Dad died. This was when I knew she was about to fuck one of my gaming buddies who happened to be younger than me. I explained to her the world had changed. That being a good little girl who didn't plan on sex, was no longer an option. Now being a girl little girl meant being prepared! I told her I would be pissed if she didn't use precautions.

She never listens.

I can't tell you how mind-bending this little tidbit was to me.

On the one hand, thinking about my parents' sex lives is just so... :eek:

On the other hand, this is the first Stifler's Mom story I've ever heard that I actually believed. Most of them seem to start out, "I never imagined anything like this would happen to me, but..."

And on the third hand, it is nice to here about a gamer getting a little somethin'-somethin' for a change. Ladies, don't ignore the dudes in the "Dwarves do it underground" t-shirts...they can be surprisingly talented, and they're REALLY grateful, if that's your thing...

Condoms, for example--in real life, I don't care if she's on the pill, got an IUD, a sponge, two creams, three jellies, a diaphragm AND a full bottle of morning-after pills...I'm STILL wearing the raincoat.
Just a RL aside - none of those female prevention methods protect against STDs, so you're right on wearing that condom.

And thanks very much to both you and Private Label for the compliments on my story! :eek:

I'm not saying that there has to be much emphasis on it, or that I don't enjoy stories without some safety. It just makes more sense to me with. *shrugs* But I only read one story that had this which I enjoyed. It would almost certainly annoy me if there was more than two words for it and maybe if I read it in every story.
Maybe it's also a sort of political/health education thing in my head. Yes, we all know it's fantasy, it's story, it won't work in real life. Still we want 'the fairy-tale'. So if there is safety in stories, I hope it won't be forgotten so often in RL, because people get used to it. {I'm an optimist who believes the world will be all safe and beautiful and people will improve, pay attention to themselves AND each other :) }

I s a hard fact of life many have still not gotten intune with and I do think that over time and with a little creativity, it can begin to be included in fiction etc., in a way which gets the safe message through in a not so obvious but efective way, and still be fun. I know a few years back the Oz porn industry introduced condom useage into all their video/DVD productions/scenes without exception....often it is not even noticed anymore, and usually done in a way which does not detract from the thrill of the whole fantasy image.
