Fantasia: Chapter Two (OOC)

If yah don't like how the game's run then by all means start your own or find another one. That's what I tell my players when I ran games. Some people just want to bitch and don't give a shit about how hard it is to keep shit like this going.

Mae's profile will be incoming. I'll give Stalzyn a few if he wants to set up the scene but otherwise I'll go ahead and plop Mae into the sewers, doing what Mae gets paid to do: getting the fucking job done.
Sorry all, I've been pretty occupied lately... that doesn't mean I haven't been keeping a tab on Fantasia... I just couldn't see what to reply to.
I was waiting on Rom to post but with the new turn of things I'll just go ahead.
I'll be taking two NPC archers and a Knight... that's with I and May that will be Five Men.
The NPC Knight and archers will be positioned outside to cover our backs while I and the Mercenary head into the sewer.
There'll be a post up by noon.
Looking forward to what will happen in the dungeon.

I'm cutting back on my stories because I'm going to be more busy in the next few months. I have to let this story go. It's one of many on the chopping block. I'll keep reading the adventure to see if the Witch wins. Good luck!

We'll have a NPC guarding Jorn. As for sodalita's post...hm...I guess you can follow it through. Say you released the girl and she goes running away as planned, and then Connell proceeds to execute plan Bravo.

If need be I can play a secondary character to fill in the gaps (giggity) until we find more people, or keep it at the number it's at. Lemme know. Big titty Spellcasters are easy.

Nah. A NPC will be fine. I'll open up recruitment once this plot is over. Once we rescue Stephan, we'll move onto Chapter 3.

There are some problems with your post.

1. Stephan already received his meal for the night and so there wouldn't be a servant to follow to his cell.

2. I thought you guys were taking a small group of NPCs because unless you know how to navigate those sewers without getting lost that would be quite a feat. You could have ran into dead ends or emerged anywhere. I also did tell you guys that there was going to be drama in the sewers. Did you really think that creatures wouldn't exist down there?

3. Also, you are saying that Mattroy somehow acquired Milian armor. When did that happen? How do you conveniently have it without there being any action IC to explain how you acquired it?

4. You are acting like your character knows the entire layout of the Milian castle, when he doesn't. You'll just have to play the role play game and search around.

But...for the sake of moving on, I will postpone the sewer action until later.

However, you will have to have Mattroy and Mae acquire a disguise. You just won't magically have one, and a warning, the sewer smells and so will your characters. Since you're under a kitchen, I would use it to hide that smell once you guys acquire your disguises.

Be sure to wait for GM guidance because if you're going to write how things go, then you'll just make it "convenient," "easy," and hardly realistic. I am the GM for a reason, and that's to make this game challenging and to make you use your brain. It would not be interesting otherwise.

Apologies Watchful GM, I understand now the faults and will edit what I can. I'm sure their will be consequences for my actions... something that only makes the game interesting.

This is what I'm going to do to fix this scene and give you guys something to work with. I will layout the kitchen to the next area and see if I can find it/make a small map that can be used as a visual for the castle. Wherever you guys decide to go from there will of course have its consequences whether they be good (meaning nothing bad happens) or bad. Really, a bad situation will only happen at this point if both writers fail to use common sense.

In the meantime, sodalitas when he gets around to it can proceed with his plans.

Still waiting for that map GM.
I'll try and get a post up tomorrow.

nice map: did you do it yourself? on another note, maybe you should've marked off positions where everyone is and such. like in what cel stephan is, were mae and the dwarf is but, im glad we got a new gm post up yay :3

I could have done it myself lol, but no. I would mark where they currently are, but then it would require me to keep having to use graphic design to change where they are as they move. So I am hoping lol, if they know that they are in the "kitchen," and they look at the "kitchen" and where it is located on the map, then they'll know they are there. :D

This is where I get unsure of how much to write - the spectrum between progressing the plot and not taking it too far before a gap for the GM to step in. In this instance, it seemed appropriate to get to the tent and stop upon entering the tent to allow for the GM to set the scene. Apologies in advance as I learn the right balance.
