The other thing about this is, the woman couldn't remember exactly when it happened--winter, spring, summer or fall. I have friends who have been raped, and to a woman they all remember exactly when it happened.

Having experience with discovery and how deep it can get, I'm thinking that somewhere in a well known file folder there are reply emails TO Staphinmetropolis saying something on the order of "I agree with you about the rape conviction, but..."

Find and open that can of worms and ain't no insurance company in the world with enough assets to pay that incoming claim.
