Hello all,

I've recently become very interested in Dante's Divine Comedy and have been learning Italian (self taught) is there anyone on here that is a) Italian b) Dante enthusiast or c) interested in things of that nature? (i.e. intelligent conversation)

My Italian is rusty but my familiarity with Dante's work and my comfort in discussing it while wearing an untied, light blue cotton robe will make this a lot of fun.

I look forward to the chat.

I've played Dante's Inferno the video game, enjoy Italian cuisine (i.e. pizza), am a frequent partaker in the deadly sin of Lust, and I dig 'chatting' with chicks who have big titties. Good enough?

I studied it and lived for 18 months there. I like to read great works in the original language which is why I've studied Greek, German, Spanish, Mandarin and French.

I will add that Dante's style marks the very beginning of the Italian language, which is significantly different from how we speak today, hence not many Italians are able to understand his writings
