I know many authors have mentioned getting bizarre, unintelligible or nasty feedback, and I've gotten a few of those already, too. But my favorite feedback has come from a couple who just seemed extraordinarily sweet and raunchy and good-natured, and I've corresponded with them both quite a bit since the initial contact.

Just to illustrate the point that there are wonderful readers for every loser out there... The male half of this couple just posted a story, his first on the site, based on an email he wrote to me. Since it's based on an email it isn't (obviously) a fully-realized plot (pause for tittering...), but I confess I have a happily vested interest in it. Great imagination, lovely style of writing.

Yes pleasant folks can be met through feedback and even PM, I too have some good friends contact with whom was as a direct result of a web site post or thread, not just Lit but other sites I subscribe to.

I'll have a read of your friends story in a while.
