Do you ever get pissed off or even a little ticked, when you enter a thread under pretences of one thing, and the subject is totally different than what you expected?

I have to admit it bothers me sometimes, others it's actually a something I don't mind reading and responding to.

I was expecting this thread to be about marketing. or something legal.

Bastard!

whatever

If a title catches my eye, I go in. If its not what I expected, I might read it anyway or I might go on to the next. Sometimes, the title won't catch me but the person who wrote it did. There are a few posters whose threads I always read. :)

Thread titles and subjects being different only bothers me when it becomes a constant practice by someone or it it's done to deliberately draw someone into an arguement.

Otherwise, i generally ignore it.

I much prefer to find a thread that matches the title. But sometimes I simply misunderstand the title. Even this thread's title could be misleading. A lawyer or Madison Avenue exec. would have a different understanding or interest in such a title than others of us.

I look for titles I find interesting and then check the thread. Many of the titles say nothing to me. So I don't go to those threads.

I voted no...cause who the hell cares if they match...though the title is usually what causes me to go into most threads...
