I find my thoughts wandering today and I am greatly looking forward to getting together with friends around a giant bonfire, and just enjoying the fun, friendships, and chilly weather. I would love to meet new people in my area too since I am in the process of moving into my dream home in a new town. Feels great to move away from stinky, ugly Decatur to a tiny little village 25 minutes North. I'm so tired of thumping car stereos shaking the pictures off of my walls and ready to be back in the country where this farmer's daughter belongs. Anybody out there feel the same? :kiss:

Gorgeous house(you're not bad either lol ;) ). I've lived in the city my whole life but I'm a country boy at heart. I have family in the south and I go down there often.
 
I have lived most of my life being a country boy. I live in more of a urban setting now...unfortunately. You can take the man out of the country but not the country out of the man.

Sitting here working on my newest short story submission for literotica, listening to the crazy gusting IL wind and drinking an iced coffee. Doesn't get much better than that.
 
Country boy

I grew up in a small town ... I'm from the south .. I have lived in the Midwest for three years now ... I miss being in the country .. Love the quiet ... Tied of being by airports and highways.
 
decatur is too big for this country chick!

Decatur has pop 81k. Im moving to a place with a total pop of 450. Waaaay better!
 
I love the name of your thread title! I'm living in the suburbs of Chicago now but I spent a year on a ranch in the middle of no where and it was the best year ever. I miss the country and the cowboys.;)
 
less crime

I figure that the worst I will see in this new little village is a little teenage vandalism...and I would probably know who did it by lunchtime. Hell, this place is so small that only the rural mail customers get mail delivery. In town, everybody has a PO box. lol. There is a bank, a village hall the size of my new livingroom, the post office, and a mom & pop restaurant that is only open on weekends...only for dinner...
 
My towns a little bigger (just south of the Wisc border) but I spent a lot of time in a town of 1,000 growing up. There are a lot of virtues to small town living. Enjoy your new place and keep writing.
 
Just peachy

Got some packing and a lot of pitching done today. Even took some time out to work on one of my stories. Here's a little taste :

“I like your friends but I thought they’d never leave.” His dark eyes roam appreciatively over my barely contained curves. He strips the tee shirt over his head in one motion and saunters forward, his dark caramel skin smooth and velvet over lean slabs of muscle. I’ve never been with a black man before, never really thought about it because none had ever pursued me. All I know is that I want this man. He closes the distance between us and crushes me against him. One large hand grips the cheek of my butt and the other almost roughly cups the back of my head. His lips slam down on mine with almost bruising force and a throaty growl that sends an instant flood of moisture to my already soaked panties.

I've been reading your submissions when time allows and I have to say I really, really enjoy your work. The structure of the story at hand, your vocabulary and the tangible, erotic way in which I'm pulled into the story.....damn girl !!

I guess it doesn't hurt that the topics of anal and an imbedded theme of non/consent or reluctance are strong turn ons for me; and the talented way you incorporate these into some of your work; well - lets just say it's very effective... ;)

Thanks for the compliments! I try to put the reader inside the story as if experiencing it themselves. Some of my stories are true and some are pure fantasy. Can you guess which is which?:devil:
