Did you ever see the picture of Snow White looking a little less than an innocent princess waiting for her prince charming to arrive? The picture has her in a black leather corset and pantie set, garter thigh highs, and holding a whip. She's looking very sexy.

Anyway, maybe there's stories on Lit like this one already, but I got to thinking what if the innocent princess, damsel in distress was all a show. Bait for the right prince to come along and save her. He soon discovers her other side as bdsm fem-dom looking for her sub.

So in the interest of keeping away for any copyrighted material of course this wouldn't be Disney's Snow White. Heck, it could be any fairy tale princess for that matter whether it be she's already established or completely made up for this story.

Fifty Shades of White!

Ha! That made me laugh.

You could call it "Fifty Shades of Snow White," thus tempting two different groups to sue you. But neither of them would want to be associated with the other, so they'd both leave you alone.

You're welcome.

To avoid any copyright issues, call her Snow Ecru.

Snow White like every other fairy tale you can think up isn't protected at all by copyright. Virtually nothing that Disney put out prior to the Pixar revolution is actually protected under any sort of law as long as you're talking the story itself. What they own are the images connected to their individual stories. They have no claim for example to the Little Mermaid but they do have a copy right on Ariel.

As a general rule you may want to check the source material for names, like I'm pretty sure Jasmine isn't the name of the princess in Arabian Nights (for some reason I want to call her Shay-zer-ade and yes I sounded that out because I've no clue how it's spelled and really Aladdin by Disney only kinda sorta resembles the source material) porning it is probably going to change enough stuff all by itself to keep you safe so long as you don't illustrate however.

You can look up stuff on Wiki you'd be amazed the stuff that either outright isn't protected or that the copyrights on are really funny. Wizard of Oz is fun. The story is fair game. . the Ruby Slippers technically belong to MGM studios as opposed to the silver slippers from the original novel.

Okay, so go totally IR with Snow White, Snow Black, Snow Red, Snow Yellow, Snow Brown, Snow Lavender, Snow Paisley, and Snow Matter. It's only logical.

How about calling it "the darker shade of white"?

The idea is interesting and in some cases could probably make the source material better.

For example, The Little Mermaid.

It runs the same until the deal with the Sea Witch. Instead of needing to get married to the Prince to avoid dying, the Mermaid needs to have sex with him and have him swear himself to her before he gets married to anyone else Additionally, the Sea Witch gives her a reprieve from the constant pain (which could be replaced with constant arousal) and lack of voice anytime the Little Mermaid has sex.

However, the Mermaid tries to save her virginity for the Prince. Then she finds out that the prince plans to marries the princess and wants to save himself for her. The Mermaid is distraught but the Sea Witch returns and admits that she is touched by the Mermaid's attempts and can't bare to see her in so much pain. The two have sex and the Witch tells her that, while she can't remove the deal, there is some wiggle room over who she has to seduce.

The witch then introduces her to the concept of BDSM.

Fast-forward to a month before the wedding and the Little Mermaid begins a careful act of seduction, appearing feeble and mute outside while being wild and dominant in the bedroom. She then seduces and collars the Princess and then later the Prince, making them both swear themselves to her, which frees her from the deal and allows her to live happily.

*snip*

Scheherezade or Shazarad (though I've never seen that spelling before I checked my own spelling) She was the queen in the overarching story of 1001 Arabian Nights. She had to keep telling the king the stories so he wouldn't have her beheaded the next morning. Disney's Aladdin was bits and pieces taken from Ali Baba and the 40 thieves and a few other stories from 1001 Arabian Nights and mashed up into something not even remotely close to the original story.

And on to Snow White, there is an even older German folktale than the Grimm version, of Snow White and her sister Rose Red. No dwarves. They got friendly with a bear, who ended up being a prince. Snow White got to marry the prince, Rose Red got his equally princely brother. You could work in some sisterly affection, a magical bear, and then wife swapping at the castle. Plot bears, er bunnies galore.

What about non prince/princess stories?

"The soldier and death"

"What do you think this is?"

"Ummm...it's your pussy"

"Well if it's my pussy, then get in there!"

Might make the bit where the soldier gets a bunch of geese awkward though...might want to omit that bit

Of course the dancing princesses is an easy adaptation. Just make it an orgy they are running off to instead of a ball

Thank you for that update Saucy, it's been years since I picked up that particular collection of stories and it's all kinda fuzzy at this point. Which doesn't by the way change my point over all about making sure you double check on the names, hell most of these fairy tales are available free online and are like ten pages max. You might as well read the source material because to say Disney changes some details up either to brighten the ending (I can't imagine the Little Mermaid dying at the end of the cartoon) or simply to reduce the number of moving parts (Aladdin had two genies, the genie of the ring and the genie of the lamp) gave charachters names (pretty sure Aurora and Ursula are Disney creations in name)

On the off chance you get it in your head to illustrate you have to make sure they don't look too much like their Disney counterparts by the by. They don't own Tinkerbell, they own a sexy fairy in a green dress though.

Rapunzel could be fun:

The prince climbs up her hair only to find her sweet demeanor slip away and for her to strip out of her dress.

"What's going on my dear sweet rapunzel?"

"Look let's cut to the chase. You came here to get some strange, and mommy rapunzel needs some sugar. So let's skip the "something more" bullcrap and get this thing going. Before my parole officer gets back."

"You mean the wicked witch who imprisons you?"

"No I'm under house arrest and she has to check up on me daily. Now get to stripping or start figuring how you're going to climb down a tower without my hair"

As an aside, try finding an alternate version of Little Red Riding Hood that isn't porn or at least sexy'd up. Pretty sure that story was halfway about sex to begin with.

Soooo....any fairy tale ideas? How about the boy who learned to shiver. Pretty easy to adapt really, just change it from the princess hitting him with a bucket of water to giving him a toe-curling orgasm.

umm If I can do a bit of shameless self-promotion, I've been working on alternate/fantasy/romance version of Red Riding Hood.

If that's not the kind of thing you're looking for, then no worries, good luck in your search. :)
