I Sit And Through The Window Stare

I sit and through the window stare
And wonder what goes on out there
In the hedgerow it looks so green
I try to see what can't be seen
After an hour or maybe two
I think I see a sparkle blue

A fairy appears before my eyes

She smiles and says come with me
And then her world I can see
Dancing fairies, talking birds
Grown ups think it's all absurd

But we know they do exist
In the swirls of the mist
Its just that they are very shy
And in our world its no wonder why
