I epically failed at using the search function in this forum and i know this question has been asked a gazillion times before but.....

If a story I submitted is taking twice as long to post as usual, 6 days now, should I resubmit assuming there is a glitch or is it just a busy time of year for Laurel and should hang on a few more days?

I have never had a story wait over three days before.

There's a contest running which means those stories go through first. Still 6 days seems kind of long. Maybe you should PM Laurel with the name of the story and see if she'll check on it for you.

it hasn't been rejected for some reason, has it? although six days isn't unreasonable.

oh, and you haven't gone back to it to edit anything at all? that sets you to the back of the queue as well.

No its not rejected just sitting there pending....

Thanks for the advice I will give it a few more days then.

The explanation is probably holiday time during a contest. But, if you want to ask, I suggest a direct PM to Laurel. A refile will probably just through a wrench in the gears.

It posted about 12 hours after I made this thread thanks for the advice Glad waited and didn't both Laurel about it.
