Located on the Isle of Man is a bridge called the faerie bridge and local tradition has it that you must say "thank you" each time you pass over the bridge, not to do so is considered very bad luck.
Each year on the Isle of Man is held the TT race's where the world's top road motorcycle racers come to battle it out on the tight winding roads, these are hard men and women who don't scare easy, they race at 100+ mph along roads with little in the way of crash barrier's and death is no stranger as the only thing to stop you if you fall off is the solid dry stone walls and yet a hard and tough as all these racers are they can be heard shouting "THANK YOU FAERIES" as they flash over the bridge at breakneck speed around the mountain track.
