I got thrown out of a facebook group for being my usual charming self. It's frustrating to be tossed from a group without warning or due process. Facebook has themselves well insulated from it's customers. So if anyone has any advise how I can get back into that group to offer my 2 cents before being thrown out again, I'd greatly appreciate hearing from you

The answers you're looking for are on the dark web.

I use it but am careful as to what groups I join. :D

I don't join groups either so it was funny to find myself expelled from a group I didn't know I belonged to.

No one can give you meaningful advice based on abstractions. We don't know what reason was given for booting you off.

I've been a member of some Facebook groups and have been happy to see certain people booted off because they kept posting irrelevant and offensive material.

Like I said, I didn't even know I was a member of a group. If I see something on my screen that interests me, I comment. I was debating one person who was unable to hold up her end and as I was about to respond to the last punch she had thrown at me, I found that I was booted with no warning and no avenue to appeal. Lack of due process angers me even when I am not the subject. I was unable to get a satisfactory answer from facebook and had no access to the mods of that thread. Someone was able to get me booted and I had no recourse.

I understand that it's just some stupid facebook group and I've been thrown out of much better places but it frustrates the hell out of me when I don't have an opportunity to counter punch.

Regular occurrence for me.

I think it’s totally random, TBH. There’s more freedom of speech in the music and sports ones I’m in compared to the political ones.

I get barred from commenting on elected officials’ pages because I don’t hesitate to let them know what I think about them.

I'm on political pages all the time and call politicians POSs all the time. I even use the A word liberally. I have never been censored.

I don't get selected as a top contributor anymore, but my posts are never deleted. :D

I go there every three or four months just to keep it active...

What I've learned is that facebook opens it's doors to anyone who wants to play and form groups but they assume no responsibility for how those groups operate.

I don't know why anyone wastes their time with Facebook in the first place.
