In the past when I was suspended from from Facebook I would log on and get a message telling me I was suspended for violatiting their so-called "terms of service " This time it simply freezes up and doesn't connect. I'm assuming my righteous criticism of the jerko Bradshaw is why but I don't really know. It just keeps freezing up

^^^Unlike you, I have never been banned for violating the terms of service that are related to minimal standards for civil discourse, so I know that your statement above is false. You resent the fact that you were banned from Lit under another user name, and you harbor the myth that free speech means "anything goes".

The fact that Lit has stopped enforcing minimal standards for civil discourse unfortunately makes it partially a default repository for those who traffic in hate speech, promotion of violent conflict, and lies.

I really wish they WOULD start enforcing those minimal standards- that's the problem.

Meanwhile I have reported Renards posts, as well as those of Botany Boy, Busybody, and whatever username Bud Spencer is using on any given day, countless times to no avail and no, it's not simply a case of "Disagreeing with them."

Rather, It's a case of hateful, trolling, uncivil rhetoric, intentionally spreading dangerous misinformation about public heath threats, and promoting sociopathic and hateful views. That crap belongs on extremist/hate websites like Stormfront.org- there should be no place for that crap here.

As someone who is left on some issues and right on others, what I see is that those on lit that are "typically left" are far more hatful and uncivil than those that are "typically right"
