Face or Body?

I notice a pretty face and am drawn to it more than a good body. The eyes and smile are two of the most important things I look for in a girl physically, so that might be why I see a face first. And honestly, a body or face can only get you so far. It's what is under those that really attracts me.

I have heard this conversation before.

And a friend of mine raised an interesting point.

A hot body wins for a short term fling, but in the long run you will be looking at her face more.

An other point that was raised, a beautiful face will "hold better" over a duration of time.

but all basic "shallow" reasons aside.

I am a total sucker for a pretty face myself.

An impish grin, or gracious features always win me over.
A little naughty spark in the eyes and a smile that makes you feel warm inside, gets my attention way more then a hot body.

although the hot body doesn't hurt I should add

Lets just say a average body with a beautiful face will win over a stunning body with a "ugly face".

i notice their smile and if there eyes match the smile and if they look at you when they are speaking, then their shoes, nothing is worse than a smart looking guy with either trainers or muddy dirty shoes

I was having a discussion with a group of friends last night and this topic came up. It is one I have been a part of in the past and will use those discussions as examples of my thought process in creating this thread.

Are you more attracted to someone's face or someone's body?

I know this is a superficial question but we live in a superficial society. There is so much more that makes one attractive - personality, sense of humor, confidence, intelligence and much more. I understand this and am not a superficial person. The discussion last night made me stop and think about life and I thought it might be a good discussion for those on Literotica.

My examples are as follows:

1. I worked as a bartender years ago. A male server told me of a discussion the male employees had concerning the females who worked there. They were debating over who was the most attractive female working there and had narrowed it down to two girls.

Both girls were very beautiful, both inside and out. They were both very similar in looks with blond hair and blue eyes. One girl worked out religiously and had a nice muscular figure with large breasts while the other was toned but curvy with smaller breasts. The muscular girl was pretty but the curvy girl had flawless facial features.

There was never an agreement on the winner and he stated it was because the muscular female was seen as having a better body and the other had a prettier face. He told me most guys preferred one over the other.

2. I was at a strip club one evening with my boyfriend at the time. There was one stripper who had an amazing body and I struck up a conversation with her about nothing in general.

During our conversation, another girl had begun to dance on stage. She was very beautiful but didn't have quite the body of the girl talking with me. As she danced there were many men coming to the stage to tip her.

I could tell the stripper with me was annoyed by the attention the one dancing was receiving. She finally shook her head and told me how the one on stage made more money than any of the other girls in the club. I complimented the girl sitting with me. I complimented her beauty and even stated how awesome her body was.

Her reply was one I will never forget. She said to me, "She has the face. It is the face that the men want and the body comes second."


This is where my curiosity lies and the reason for this post.

Do not agree. Been there done that. The body is very important, the face is important to a degree as long as she is not hideous looking, the more important thing is the personality of the girl, that means just as much as the body and the face, how she entertains the crowd is very important.

I look at the face first, the features, then the eyes, their expressiveness and then it's straight to the T & A !!!

I would have to agree with most that the face is the first attraction for the reasons many have listed. There is nothing like a pretty face with a warm smile and inviting eyes. That trumps a body any day in my opinion.

I don't think dancers at a strip club can be used as any kind of benchmark. They are there to sell an illusion to fools whose lusts are induced by drugs and alcohol and an empty promise. I've known a great many dancers, either as my massage students or clients, or when I was with the bikers and they were all unique.

So for me a woman's body is secondary. I can find beauty in a woman but I want to know who and what they are. So I'm going to listen to them speak while I look into their eyes. So I guess my answer would be their face.
