Was thinking of you the other night. Had dinner with the neighbours, one of whom is Danish. Tried some Danish liqueur - a kind of schnapps? Made with caraway seed? Very tasty!

I hope your neighbours was good company, it's nice to hear when other Danes make a good impression.

I think I know the liquer, I think it's Snaps, and the bottle might look something like this

They are wonderful company - and he is a fantastic ambassador for Denmark. I have very good luck with neighbours!

Now that bottle is the name of the liqueur he said he would "traditionally" drink but it is no longer available in Canada (the company didn't want to bother with the expense of our bilingual label laws). He said what we were drinking was very similar and the closest he could get to Aalborg. So, yes, that is it!

I thought it would be that one. And I actually live close to where they make this one! Less than 10 minutes walk.

It might be a 10 minute walk there, but that's probably a straight line. How long does it take you to get back? :D

It takes me the same time to get back, since they don't serve or sell it at the factory :p ;)
