It has been said to know what local indecent exposure laws are before going to an adult book store. Honestly, the best bet might just be to discreetly ask someone if they'd like to see your dick in the first place. Your point is well taken. However, there is a bookstore near where I live that had a bust a few months ago. There were 12 cops, one of them a female, that milled about for an hour, then locked the doors and busted 6 people for sexual acts and indecent exposure. They have a small theatre and booths. Don't know the exact details relative to who got popped but again, pretty serious stuff.

We had a big to do here when the porn store first opened. Well, as long as it's on the books, it could, theoretically be overturned, though. The supreme court and other courts have changed judges in the years since. Of course, it's also questionable with the way the opinion was worded. Private sex between consenting adults is legal, but we don't have any functional definition of what private means and a conviction is almost as great of a felony charge as rape. I don't see pushing it being likely, but it is possible.
