As I'm having a tremendous success with this question on the GB (none..) I might as well try it here... As this is my 'homebase' , kind of.....

Maybe: how to deal with ..... "exposed thongs"?

A pair of low cut trousers with the thong showing above, "thong-lines" under tight skirts..... Does it turn you on as much as it turns ME on?! Girls, do you do that on purpose? or are you so sweet and innocent that it just "happens" that your thong shows....?

We do have a heat wave in Europe at the moment and I have a feeling there a thongs EVERYwhere when I get out on the street...! One of my favorites: women with young children or a dog squatting down to fix something.. with the latest hipster-trousers-fashion they widely expose their ...emm...back - and a thong!
Help! I get all confused and horny!

I always thought the idea of sex appeal was to "hint" at the bottom layers. That is by far sexier to me than seeing too much of a woman than I'd care to. Granted, it's nice to know that a thong is present, but the lack of panty lines can spark the imagination more than seeing too much. What ever happened to the idea of unwrapping a beautiful gift. Scary to think about all the control and minimizing and cover up articles of clothing women wear which hide the true person/body, but I don't wanna see thongs all day long, especially as there are no controls over who wears them and who doesn't. Also, I think the whole hip-hugger jean fad is ridiculous, very few women have the hips to carry that one off. Sorry, but I'm just being picky.

I remember when hip-huggers made their first go-round. At least then the women who wore them had the figures to wear them. Nowadays I see young women wearing them with their guts (yeah, guts not mere tummies!) hanging over the waistband. And, of course, they have to wear the little short tops that only allow one to fully see their gut hanging over. ICK! It's the female equivalent to the guy who wears his jeans so low you see his crack.

I for one enjoy the sight of a thong. Hidden undeneath or sticking out slightly. While I agree that many women wear that wear them probably shouldn't (and some absolutely shouldn't!), I also apreciate the fact that men like women of different sizes and shapes.

I for one prefer a woman with at least a little meat on her bones. I cannot stand the heroin chic look that has permiated the fashion scene for the last few years. I enjoy hips big enough to hold onto and breasts big enough to fill my hands.

Besides, if we limited our likes and dislikes to perfect 10 models, then we will live a very lonely and disappointed existence. Physical attrractiveness varies (eye of the beholder and all) and is important. But so is the passion and emotion.

If the thong is accidentally being exposed, I think that it is incredibly sexy, even if this accidental exposure is on purpose. Seeing someone cross their legs and catching a flash of underwear or, no underwear as the case may be is extremely erotic. Looking at someone's underwear hanging out cause they haven't figured out how to match what's underneath with what's on top looks trashy to me. I don't know why I feel that way exactly. Maybe because one is more voyeuristic, forbidden. I get way more turned on from seeing or doing something that I ought not to be seeing or doing than I do from following the rules.

I agree. If it is blunt and obvious, it is not sexy. As you said, it is just trashy (not that trashy is always a bad thing). The mind is the most erogenous zone. To be subtle or forbidden (certainly not obvious) is to be a tease and is much more erotic.
