home of the brave? Gosh, I thought they stopped using lines like that in grade school. "It's a free country isn't it?" Sure, but use common sense... such as, don't go around insulting established dommes on this board that are generally well respected.

And no where did I see the lovely SweetDommes tell you that you couldn't express your opinions or ask whatever questions you wanted.... they only displayed their annoyance and offered their opinion that you had not chosen the most appropriate place to do so... and regardless of how free this country is or what freedoms the Bill of Rights affords you, you should have enough self respect and common courtesy to follow the ettiquette established by this board. .... 1. Explain why a dom uses a collar.

A collar is used as a sign of ownership. It is used to reinforce to the person wearing it their place. It also signifies to others that this wearer is "owned". Some wear collars 24/7 (such as my slave does). Some wear collars during play only. In this fashion, the colar being placed around the neck is used as a "start point" and a "stop point" when it is removed.

2. Why is pain good for you.

People always look at the pain aspect. For alot of people, it is not about the "pain". A side result of the "pain" is the release of endorphins which results in a state of euphoris of differing degrees. This is also referred to as "sub space".

3. Why does a dom shave his sub.

This can be done for many reasons. One of the main reasons is as a reminder os the persons place in the relationship. Another reason could be for humiliation. Another reason is that when using "toys" such as a violet wand, TENS, inflations, etc... this gives clean access to the vital parts. And lets not even get started on the aspects of fire/wax play.

4. Why does a dom insist on your silence.

This is done as a sign of respect. WHen one looks at this in a D/s or M/s relationship, the slave is normally considered property and is not allowed to talk or act without permission.

5. Why do you submit willingly to your dom.

This is a multi-part answer with many different reasons.
