I was curious to see what my county in Oregon would do if I wanted A Marriage License.

I was denied



I have contacted the County Commisioner and he has told me to be patient. They are looking into it and our county plus the one next to us are most likely next to follow Portlands lead.


He also Apologized for the denial of a license and my rights being violated according to Oregon Law.

If everyone would follow and flood the system with requests like a lot in my county are we can get the laws changed. If you are denied in any of the 12 states that do not specifically define marriage betwweeen a man and a woman the ACLU wants to here from you. They are for us and our rights. They will not stand by and watch are rights be violated.

If you are in a state that is to give equal rights to all of its people and you are denined your rights have been violated also.


I challenge all of you, even you Angel (make the bf understand, It is all about Civil Rights as an American)

I am not a marriage person myself. I believe in Civil Unions for Faith perposes. I am still going to take a stand on the issue though. My fellow comunity needs my support and strength to see the laws changed.


It is just not about marriage. It is about Equal Treats and Rights!!!!!!!!!
