No, not a writing one. ;)

How much do you do?

If you don't do any, get at it! It not only helps you physically, mentally it's good for you, too.

I've started my early morning runs with my dog again, and it felt GOOD!

Lou :nana:

P.S. If all else fails, copy the 'nana.

I've started running again. Right now, about 3 miles, 4 or 5 times a week. I used to do more but fell off the wagon, so to speak, last fall. It' tough to get going again. But I'm trying.

Oh, and here's your nana back: :nana:

Yep, that's when I "fell off the wagon", too. Cold mornings make it a tough prospect, but with spring in the air again now, I feel invigorated and raring to go.

I chase CD.

I run about five miles four times per week, give or take. Endorphins are wonderful. I do Tai Chi every morning. It feels good and makes me feel "centered".

And have another nana on me: :nana:

Edited to add: I swim almost every day, but I don't swim a set number of laps or anything, so it doesn't feel like exercise.

I'll have to slow down next time so you can catch me. ;)

I keep trying to start an exercise program... but I'm afraid I'm motivationally deprived....

I need a partner to keep me going...

I think the ultimate exercise program for me would be having sex 6 times a day... I just can't find a partner!!!!

I went running on the beach for almost 2 hours, yesterday morning. That felt good!

Can't wait for the weather to get better so that I can start surfing every weekend again.

I do a different workout each day, in order to work different muscle groups. Several days a week I play Kung-Fu to keep my skill level up. The precise number of Kung-Fu workout depends on the guys I can get for the workouts. The rest of the days I work with weights except that one day I run.

Slowing down would help. I'm conditioned for distance, not speed. ;)

Does fucking the hubby 6 times in the last 2 days count?

yeah ontop of the sex i do alot of walking, did do the gym thing when I had a free pass but it's too expensive for me to pay for it now. playing with Beth is good and we'll do more walking/playing/chasing now springis here I'm sure :)

You do walking on top of the sex? I'd live to see an .mpg of that.

My routine up until last year was: 7 days of Kickboxing. (1 hour each session)

Now, I do about 3 days of kickboxing, my in between days, I do 40-45 mins of sit-ups, legs and butt lifts. If I do not get a kickboxing in, I will work on the treadmill - about 40 mins (I suck at running...I do about 5-6mph and get maybe 3 miles in) and then 30 mins of arms, legs, butt and sit-ups.

I try to keep at least 1 day without doing anything in case I need to do something else, or something comes up.

I usually exercise around 6:30 p.m. on the weeknights - weekends, I will try to do an afternoon session.

I haven't lost any weight, but I do believe that I am building muscle tone. Which is what I want. I don't need to lose weight. I am trying to work on my abs, butt and arms. I love that look of a well-toned arm in sleeveless shirts, tank tops and halters and my ass has finally been looking great. You can actually cup one cheek in your hand without touching a thigh....You can see the cheek definition... :)

I know, simple things for simple minds!

30 minutes of stretching and butt/ab work daily.

Zumba 3-4x weekly.

LOVE the results (physically AND emotionally)

Yes -- it's Latin. Fun, too! Makes you WANT to move. Burns everything between waist and knees.

Last I checked, you could order at zumba.com

I will check it out...although I am now on to Cathe Friedrich! OH MY GOD! My arms, pecs and upper body are in such pain, the good kind.

I was starting up my walking routine again when I caught this cold/flu bug. As I understand it, working out when you have one is equivalent to shooting yourself in the leg - counterproductive. If anyone knows something to the contrary, though, I'd love to hear how I can build up while being sick. :)
