Is it just me, or does your heart beat quicken as you write a story too?

I can't help it, but every time I write my heart beat quickens, I slicken, and I get all sorts of excited about the story that is racing through my head and out my fingers! Just wondering if that's the norm or if I'm just a weirdo haha

I've had this happen a couple times before. Working on my FAWC story today, I wrote something between 20-23 pages in about 6 hours. It was exciting, but I didn't dare leave the computer for anything other than a bathroom break lest the words stop. Luckily, they slowed in time for me to make dinner, or it might not have gotten done.

This is my first post to you, giving you substantive help at your request on a story text. It wasn't hostile (but perhaps you were just looking for praise, not help); I took the time to read your material and give you feedback. So, perhaps you just shouldn't make up a reason why gay bashing is OK.


Getting a description of her in the first paragraph like this seemed forced to me. There's no particular need to know that about her yet; it isn't being brought into play for anything connected to the plot.

Starting off like this, introspection rather than action, is a slow start and seems a wordy one. Likely to make the reader doze off waiting for the storyline (the dilemma of it) to rev up.

Think you are asking for opinions too soon on this. There's no there there yet.

Now it's your turn to show me where you've been nice to me on the forum. Just love it when posters make up what I've posted.

It's been a while since I got aroused while writing. My early stories were basically strokers, basically excuses for putting characters into sexual situations, and the scenes that developed in my mind before I wrote them often had me sitting at the computer with a tent in my lap (well, they would have, had I been dressed ).

Alas, I've gotten all artsy-fartsy and story-driven with later works. Still, they evoke a response from me, just not always an erotic one, as I write. A nearly-finished erotic horror novel I'm working on now has a scene involving my evil antagonists, a couple of tools, and a dog. It's not a pretty scene, and it's not even described. Just alluded to through the dialogue of another character. I felt my stomach churn when I wrote those paragraphs.

On the other hand, a scene I wrote this morning got me feeling a little randy, and when my wife came home early from work, well . . .

I have been aroused just by reviewing stories for anthologies that I'd written more than a year ago. I pretty much want them to be at the arousal level (for me at least).

I would NEVER gay bash, my sister, aunt and father are all gay, not that it matters, but I have a very strict personal conviction about being open.

What I told you was a metaphor used to say you were acting like a little bitch, woman bashing. And since I am a woman and I feel like the slur is acceptable. The second comment included an explanation about homosexuality not having the requirement of a vagina. Which is a fact, not a bash.

Now to answer your question. I have never been either kind or mean to you, until this thread. I have been neutral.

I am not looking to make an enemy here, although I think I may have unintentionally. I was simply telling you to stop acting like a little bitch and throwing a fit on a public forum because one asshole always posts mean things on your writing. I am sorry you did not take the joke well.

"Pull the sand out of your vagina", "Man up", and "Being a little bitch" are all terms that indicate that you are acting like a 12 year old child. They do not indicate anything relating to homosexuality.

If you are so insecure in your sexuality that you take every insult as a "gay bash" maybe you should take some time and deal with your issues, before attacking others.

Going back to your first post on this, Badkat135, perhaps now you'll realize that Lovecraft68 wasn't joking with his jab. He can't help himself in these vicious character assassination attacks on the forum.

There's absolutely no doubt that as rabidly as Lovecraft68 attacks me on the forum that he's also trashing my story ratings. There's no evidence that this man's craziness has any bounds. It's likely he's just upset that I'm perpetually at the top of the "popular authors" list on the GM category page and he can't get on the "Incest" list. I'm even on the most popular How-To list. What category popular list is Lovecraft68 on? Funny thing about those lists. A rabid attacker can't manipulate those lists.

I also, incidentally, don't brag about it--in contrast to Lovecraft68, who is all over the forum all the time telling us how great he is--in every way. Can we all pronounce "insecurity"?
