I'm aging like everyone else and @ 68 yrs I have noticed that my performance in bed is not what it used to be @ 40yrs. I think that I'm active enough in my work, but do feel muscle weakness in my legs, buttocks and stomach affecting my strength to thrust as deep and as hard as I used to. Luckily my younger wife likes to do 'cowboy' and it's easy to just let her do the work, but I do miss being able to do the deep ramming sometimes.
Just wondering if anyone can recommend a workout or exercise that will rebuild those atrophied muscles?? Maybe a video workout CD??

For exercising your better off joining a gym. If it's too expensive for you, go walking and swimming. Your doctor should be able to suggest some others best suited to your physical condition. While there have your testosterone levels checked. If you can, do some crunches, I'm thinking perhaps some build up for your knees and thighs and that tummy you mentioned. If you can only do 3, thats fine, and just build up slowly. if it's too hard, sit down and stand up from a dining room chair, it's close to crunches, and you will eventually built up to the real ones.. Just something off the top of my head. All the best.

As Sidonie mentioned, walking and swimming are really good low impact exercises.

You could also start doing yoga or Pilates. There are many good exercise videos available on YouTube if you can't join a yoga studio or gym.
For yoga, I like Yoga with Adriene. She has many free videos as well as 30-day yoga camps posted on YouTube. She goes quite slow and is easy to follow.

Once you built up a bit more strength and flexibility, you can also try doing planks. If you don't have the strength, don't start with a 30-day challenge, or at least slow it down considerably.

I would also recommend for you to check out glute bridges. They are great for strengthening not just your bum but also your lower back and thighs and once you have the basic glute bridge down, there are many variations to step it up.

Good luck!

Excellent advice, form all.

I'm in my mid 60's and have found that low impact exercises and yoga keeps me flexible. Walking several miles a day has kept my stamina at a great level.

Use some free weights, even if they're not heavy. Nothing gets the old testosterone flowing like muscle-building.

I would say the same thing. I am in my mi...late 40s and am focusing more on flexibility that muscle mass (not that I have ever been able to bulk up).

It should help a person maintain various sex positions for longer and yoga can also build up muscle endurance, resulting in less soreness after the fact.

Swimming is also great for stamina and muscle toning.

Gym is the best opinion for sure....l've been going for yrs. People of all ages go and enjoy themselves...and they can give you a program that best fits your needs. Good luck!

Thanks for all the tips guys [and gals] .....seems like common sense and it's just a matter of making the time and effort to do it.
Yeah, my knees take a beating during and after sex as well as my neck from positioning myself for licking deep and hard.
Not really into gyms because of cost, location and boredom so I'll go with the DIY routine.
Used to do Pilates a few years ago and will return to that. Mostly it's just making the time in my already full schedule................

I find hiking is a great exercise and a great way to meet and get to know people. So it can be fun as well as healthy. And the gym is a nice supplement for bad weather and making sure you do your strength training.

Cycling is very good for core strength and is low impact, and you can roll down hills!
As the others have said, don't overdo it.
Build up to it at a pace that works for you.
